BLM@Pratt Teach-In presents an incredible Queering Radical Pedagogies conference, a three-day event with generative workshops, panel discussions, critical performances featuring students, community members, and faculty.
Black Lives Matter @ Pratt is a group of students, faculty, staff, and alumni working together to transform our campus culture, to address systemic racism, and creating dialogues around the racial inequality within our institution and fostering activism within our campus body. It means confronting anti-Blackness openly and honestly.
Queering Radical Pedagogies, exist as a think tank work-study, utilizing historical and cultural analysis focusing on sexuality, critical theories and socioeconomic forms of justice. This re-evaluation and re-interpretation of oppressive systems including but not limited to education, mass incarceration, mental health, sexual health, and civil rights engage a fluid spectrum of gender framework.
